On September 19-20, 2024, Tashkent, Uzbekistan, will host the “International Sustainable Lifestyles Festival 2024: Learning to live better and lighter on campus and beyond”, which will be held at the Radisson Blu Hotel. Organized by the Kazakh-German University (DKU) with support of UNEP, the festival will bring together about 100 participants from universities of Central Asia and South Caucasus, active graduate students, representatives of civil society and international organizations.
The festival aims to promote “green nudges” in universities of the region, exchange innovative ideas and experiences, and discuss approaches to sustainable living on and off campus. Participants will be able to get acquainted with the progress of the Sustainable Lifestyles University Network (SLUN) and consider plans for 2025-2026.
The event will be held in a hybrid format, which will allow participation both in person and online.
